Funeral Costs Explained

Professional Fees

Items included in Macarthur Lady Funerals professional fees are:

  • A personal consultant to guide you, organise bookings, and liaise with celebrant or clergy, be in attendance on the day of the service.
  • Completion & submission of relevant paperwork including application for death registration.
  • Provision of hearse and staff on the day of the service
  • Source and supply music
  • Preparation and dressing (extra fees apply for viewings)

Coffins & Caskets

There is a wide range of coffins and caskets, ranging in price from economic coffins to more elaborate caskets; the costs depend solely on your preference and budget.

Disbursements

These are fees that are paid to a third party on your behalf, they include:

  • Cemetery (open/close fee) or cremation fees
  • Chapel fees
  • Celebrant or clergy fees
  • Required medical certificates
  • Application for death certificate from the registry of Births Deaths & Marriages
  • Floral tributes 
  • Transfer of your loved one into our care.

Photo Presentations

Creating a photo presentation or life in pictures is a touching addition to a funeral service. A visual memorial of life journey, personalises a service and is a perfect opportunity for quiet reflection.

You supply the photo's (on USB) and your choice of music and a theme and we can create your presentation (mp4) for you.

Prices start from $220 (approx 30 photo's, one song)

Order of Services

Order of service or thank you cards are a lasting memorial of the service.

They may include a photo, an outline of service, a special message or verse, selected songs, a message of thanks to mourners for their condolences and details of the wake if applicable.

You supply the photo's (maximum of 3), a verse, prayer or poem of your choice, any specific details or messages and a preferred theme or colour, and we will do the rest.

An initial draft will be emailed to you for approval before printing.

Prices start from $3.75 each (A5 size, no insert)
